Blaine-Sensei
Konnichiwa! I am Blaine-sensei and I run the Japanese Club at Meole Brace School. I lived in Japan for around five years. I was always facinated by the country and after visiting I fell in love with the language, food, people and their culture. I am so please to be able to share my expriences with the students and thrilled to see how passionate they have been to learn more.

Hi! I'm Georgie! Yoroshiku! I'm doing GCSE Japanese this year because I love Japanese language, culture, food and...everything! I am (nearly ^.^) a brown belt in karate. After GCSE I am hoping to do A-level Japanese, and hopefully I will be able to actually visit Japan in 2016!

Hello there! My name is Sarah. I love Japan and the culture within this beautiful country. It is a place where tradtion and modern life live beside each other peacefully. I adore both these sides of Japan. I also enjoy eating ramen and sushi as well as watching anime and reading manga, like Shingeki no Kyojin and Tokyo Ghoul. I also draw lots too! :3

Hellooo! I'm Jazmin. I love drawing and listening to music. I also love watching anime. Two of the anime I really like are Nichijou and Fullmetal Alchemist. I really like learning the Japanese language because it is so different to anything else, and I hope to visit Japan one day soon!

Konnichiwa! My name is Dan and I have a great interest in Japan’s history, especially the infamous Sengoku Jidai era. The Samurai, Daimyo and even the mighty Shoguns are all amazing figures of a turbulent time! Aside from that, I also love the language and culture; the characters are beautiful and the time-honoured practises are inspiring. So, basically I love history and culture and would love to learn more. I hope that one day I will be lucky enough to visit!

Yo! I'm Brandon! I was first introduced to Japan ages ago, but what's more important is why I started learning the language - anime! I'm a great fan of the Japanese art styles, storylines and culture of modern (and sometimes traditional) Japan. In the future I want to create my own anime and visit Japan!
Rosie
Konnichiwa! I'm Rosie. I've been going to the Japanese club for almost three years now. I first became interested in Japan either by waching Studio Ghibli films (Spirited Away and Ponyo) or by playing Nintendo games like Pokémon and Animal Crossing. Either way, I have been interested in Japanese culture for a long time and the lessons have taught me a lot more about it. I have never been to Japan, but my dad has gone a few times on work trips, making me very jealous.

I'm interested in Japan because of many things but here are the main three. First is the beautifully put together rock gardens. They are calm and don't change like a flower garden. Second is the tradtional music. I think it is equally as charming and attractive as the cherry blossoms to me. Last but not least is the food, that can fill my tummy with amazing tastes and colourful candy! That is why I love Japan!

My name is Will and I am part of the Meole Brace School Japanese Club. I am interested in Japan because I think that the language is awesome and I am really interested in Japanese history (especially the samurai). I also really like the traditional buildings that Japan has. In the future I really hope to go on a tour around Japan. I would especially be excited to see Tokyo!
